Well, it's that time of year again! Get out your developer consoles and let's create something great!Yes, Google IO is coming next month. We can use this month's meetup to brainstorm ideas and see what we think we should do.Also, there will be a number of tech groups around that day too. Why not use the time to make professional connections and new friends?

Birmingham GTUG is pleased to annouce it's first meeting on Tuesday 11th October 2011!  :)

We know it's a little short notice, but we thought it'd be a good time for our first meeting. The date is also when Android 4.0 (codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich) is expected to be announced/released as well as the next Nexus device(s).

As well as introductions and getting to know each other, we'll be watching a live screening of the Google/Samsung event. A good first meeting, even if we do say so ourselves!  :)

So join us in Birmingham Science Park for a light meetup. Registration starts at 6.45pm with an aim to start at 7.00pm

If you are attending or just interested in GTUGs, don't forget to register yourself at birmingham.gtugs.org/register  So, even if you can't make it, at least we can inform you of future events. Don't forget to forward this event to anyone you think that might be interested too!

Hopefully, we'll see you soon!  We will be providing a free cheese salad baguette to each registered attendee. So make sure you come along!  :)
