San Diego GTUG

San Diego, California, United States

The San Diego Google Technology User Group (SD-GTUG) is for developers who are interested in Google's developer technology.

The San Diego GTUG hosts a weekly hacking night, which is an informal co-working session for Google technology users to hack collaboratively, exchange information, brainstorm, etc. There are no formal presentations or structured agenda.  Occasional, formal meetings will be organized based on speaker availability.

Members of the SD-GTUG group are particularly interested in App Engine and Android development, although product APIs like the YouTube API and the Google Calendar API, and initiatives like OpenSocial and HTML5 adoption are also discussed.
