On March 17th, 2012, The newly established Heifei GDG held its first formal event, a pre-founding event planning meeting between its organizers and key volunteers. 12 people from the GDG participated in this meetup event. The event was a planning meeting for the founding event in late April, and we discussed the logistic planning details, from venue selection, founding event agenda, to event announcement planning, etc. We also discussed how to collaborate with the local universities in rally more college students joining our GDG.
