Hello and Welcome to the Catania Chapter of the Google Technology User Groups (formally GTUGs). This group is aimed at both users and developers. Catania GTUG is mostly made up of computer science engineering students and it's growing up with their dedication.

Our members are using or want to learn more about developing applications based on Google technology, including:

Android - mobile development (Java)
Google Wave - real-time collaboration and communication
Chrome OS - a lightweight operating system based on Linux and Google Chrome browser
Google App Engine - scalable cloud computing (Python and Java)
Google Web Toolkit - web development platform (Java)

Internal organization of Catania GTUG like main, vice and tool managers ( facebook, linkedin, forum, site, graphic ).Each member gives a brief and personal overview of following Google Technologies: Google Wave, GMail, Google App engine, Google Sites, GWT, Chrome vs Firefox, Android.Our meeting lasted about 4 hours ( 21:00 - 01:00 ) and was attented by 12 people.
